The summer is coming, but this year we will have (purtroppo!) WYD somewhere in the world, nor the Pope who will come again in our diocese ... therefore, As already mentioned long ago by Father David, is scheduled something different .
You are all invited to spend 2-6 (or 5, is yet to be determined) August with Tamié ;)
The period was chosen because it is free from summer camps to GP , where usually the ' summer boys in oratory ended, the session is over at the university examinations and also those who have the examination of maturity are happy graduates.
Here are the details (I'll add as soon as available) :
- the destination is in the Savoy in France, about 230 km from Ivrea, therefore be reached by buses the Diocese
- the will start on Monday 2 August (probably early in the morning) and return 5 Thursday evening or Friday 6 towards lunchtime
- the cost is € 100 Total including travel, room and board (or all)
- to enroll should contact Don David Smiderle ( 347 7763962) and deliver the deposit of 50 € before 15 June near future
- stay in a detached house very spacious and completely equipped, surrounded by nature and prepare treats a person or persons of trust of Don David
- the home (called Maison St. Benedict ) is located at the 'Abbey of the Cistercian monks of Tamié ( http://www.abbaye-tamie.com/ ) and can accommodate about 30 people
